Tucked up in the hills seemingly miles away from Hong Kong, is a holiday villa with modern architecture and dreamy views. We were called on to this project to redesign and style the exterior and living areas, with various furnishing updates in the guest rooms.

We created and installed four exterior zones for lounging and dining, which amble alongside the 50-meter infinity pool overlooking the Sai Kung bay. Perfect for events as well as intimate dinners and gatherings by the pool, the exterior zone areas are modern and lush yet imbue a rustic Mediterranean touch.

A formal and informal living space, each open out onto the poolside. We brought in antique Persian rugs to ground new, modern furniture pieces, with a focus on clean lines, natural textures, and an airy but refined eclecticism. A bold black and white inlay coffee table, which seemed out of style in the original room, became the centerpiece of a sophisticated seating area.

In the family room, rattan mid-century classics and natural fiber weaves were brought in alongside plants and lamps to give the space a relaxed handsomeness fit for lounging or entertaining.
